Environmental issues

VCU’s many positive contributions to the community also drive a substantial environmental footprint. From our growing residential community, to our teaching and research activity, and the operation of healthcare facilities, we are responsible for managing the energy and emissions, water consumption, and waste generated in our facilities. This working group will explore these challenges and as they relate to the integration of reducing the environmental impact of the university and health system.
